- "Services" refers to the estate consultation, administration support, and inheritance representation services described on our website.
- "Website" refers to the site operated at our domain.
- "Agreement" refers to the engagement letter or written agreement entered into between you and the Firm when you formally retain our services.
- "Content" refers to all text, documents, information, and materials on our website.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or contacting us to enquire about our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. By engaging our services through a formal Agreement, you confirm your acceptance of these terms.
Our services are available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. We do not provide services to minors without involvement of a parent or guardian acting on their behalf.
3. Service Description
Pusaka Amanah provides the following categories of legal service in relation to estate and inheritance matters in Malaysia:
- Estate & Will Consultation: An advisory session covering the estate before you, your questions, and the relevant legal process. Starting from RM 237 per consultation.
- Estate Administration Support: Practical assistance with administering an estate, from records gathering to distribution. Starting from RM 284.
- Representation in Inheritance Matters: Formal legal representation in inheritance disputes or proceedings requiring court attendance. Starting from RM 329.
The precise scope and fee for each engagement will be agreed in writing before work commences. These starting fees are indicative and may vary depending on the complexity of the matter.
4. Client Responsibilities
In engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide us with accurate, complete, and timely information relevant to your matter
- Inform us promptly of any changes in your circumstances or instructions
- Respond to our communications within a reasonable timeframe
- Use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others
- Not provide false or misleading information in connection with any enquiry or engagement
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, structure, and any written materials prepared specifically for this site — is the property of Pusaka Amanah and is protected under applicable Malaysian intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and view the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt any content from this website without our prior written consent.
6. Payment Terms
Fees for our services will be set out in writing prior to engagement. Payment terms are as agreed in each matter's engagement letter. In general:
- Consultation fees are payable prior to or at the time of the consultation
- Administration and representation fees may be structured in stages, as agreed
- All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
- Disbursements (such as court filing fees or government charges) are payable separately and will be notified in advance

8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability to you in connection with any matter shall be limited to the fees paid to us in relation to that matter. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from the services we provide or from use of this website.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice. Upon termination, any fees due for work completed to that point will remain payable. We reserve the right to cease acting for a client in accordance with the Legal Profession Act 1976 and Bar Council Malaysia professional conduct rules.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, without prejudice to our right to seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.
We encourage any concerns to be raised directly with us in the first instance, so that we may seek to resolve the matter informally before any formal proceedings are initiated.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
